Seen at a Turkish supermarket in Vienna. Could have been anywhere though.
Half a year has gone by since I took these images. I’m pretty thankful for my cache of pictures, because I hardly take images at all right now. Why? Stress, a transitional phase at work, and then I’ve got my Sony PS4 Pro, remember?
I bought it for making first steps in VR, but in reality I have spent countless hours in “Skyrim“. Meet Astaroth, level 47 conjurer, Archmage of the College of Winterhold, Citizen of Whiterun and Solitude, Dragonborn 🙂
I’ve played Skyrim’s predecessors “Morrowind” and “Oblivion” on the PC, but at the time “Skyrim” came out six years ago, I didn’t have a powerful enough graphics card. Today’s “Special Edition” brings lots of new visual goodies, and on the PS4 Pro it runs buttery smooth in all its glory.
This park is where the second Vienna International Garden Show took place in 1974. It has aged gracefully. Here’s a detail of some stairs.
The manual focus 25/0.95 Mitakon Speedmaster is a lens that feels and looks good on the PEN-F. I think in the meantime they sell it in silver as well, and that would be an even better match. The fate of the early adopter 🙂
Of course in an image like this, any lens would do. Had I used the Olympus 25/1.8, I’d even be able to tell you the aperture I’ve used. Must have been around f2.8, I guess.
