An ice cream parlor, still closed at this early time of the year. Of all the images taken that day in Rovinj, this is arguably the Good One 🙂
Vienna is normally two weeks ahead of Carinthia, vegetation-wise. Although Carinthia is slightly south of Vienna, 250 meters of altitude make a difference. Here we are in Croatia, further south and on sea level as well.
It’s always a joy driving down to the sea in early spring and seeing flowers aplenty.
Do you remember images that you’ve taken? Normally I do, especially those that I’ve decided to post-process. Of course I remember this image as well. I remember the place, the time of day, everything, but it feels like it had been ages ago.
Munich is some time ago, but it definitely feels like “this year”. Even the ice images from January feel closer than this one. Why? I have no idea.
Vienna has two newspapers that are distributed at underground stations for free. They are also the worst kind of newspapers imaginable. Still, people read them and they even have political influence. It’s hard to understand, but it’s harder to argue with facts. Although, the whole concept of facts seems to be of diminishing importance today 🙂
This is the last image. During the concert I was not only not allowed to use my camera, I even had to leave my bag with a security officer. I got it back, no problem, but I can’t exactly say that it felt comfortable, especially as it was my most expensive camera, along with the most expensive lenses 🙂
