As a subject this work of a mole amounts to nothing, but I just can’t resist a pattern 🙂
Dreams of the sea, dreams of the shore and of walking in the sand with bare feet! Or is it just a pattern of dirt, dried up slosh at the side of a busy street in Vienna?
It’s a difference, for sure, but maybe it does not count in an image. Images are illusions, fantasies, dreams, framed and taken out of context. It feels different when you’re there, but when you dream about it, you have a hard time telling one apart from the other. And besides, maybe you are like me and even lack all motivation to do so 😀

When taking images I often like to look up, but on occasion I like to look down as well.
Here we have an image of an Underground lift floor, taken as I arrived in Vienna, and another one of dirt below a tree, peculiarly arranged by the rain, taken as I was on my way back to Villach.

It’s nice when the snow comes and it’s nicer even when it goes. This image taken on Wednesday shows what it leaves behind.
The Song of the Day is one more time “Plain Dirt” by McKinneys Cotton Pickers. Hear it on YouTube.
I think this looks pretty good for a dirty wall, but of course the owner may disagree 🙂
