Today the weather was the same as yesterday, only that it began to rain earlier.
I decided to not go swimming after work, and I stuck with my decision, even when the sun came out later in the afternoon. Sometimes I’m stubborn 😄

No, this is more or less straight out of the camera. The sun was almost but not completely centered, so I cropped very slightly, and of course I've added the border. What you see are internal reflections and refractions of a pretty cheap lens, closed down to f11. Actually I don't know what I focused on, but obviously the rays of the sun were so contrastful, that the AF chose that. I tried another shot wide open, but it makes less of an interesting star. Btw, I love to shoot into the sun, and this is an application where EVFs are much better suited. No way to get blind from looking into an EVF 🙂

Stunning! This is one image that would not work well in B&W. I love that the sun's rays registered as purple, because that makes a nice foil for the darker greens. Any idea why the sun's rays showed up as purple? Did you have some sort of filter on the lens? Or did you do this in Photoshop/Lightroom?
