1786 - A Tale of Two Cities

After that rant of the last post, here’s something easy, a tale of two cities 🙂

I took this image today while waiting for the train to Carinthia.

The Song of the Day is “Cities” from the 1979 Talking Heads album “Fear Of Music”. Hear it on YouTube.

Funny, at first I was deceived in the size of things, thinking that the price tags were attached to some kind of plastic box. Works very well in b&w.

The cost to travel to either city is the same, apparently. The guy seems to be headed for Hamburg on the right. Or maybe one has to walk in that direction to the gates to all cities? He looks tired, or maybe he's not too happy about making this trip, or maybe his bag is very heavy. Viewers can make up their own stories, because you have provided us with a mystery. Hugs, Flo

Despite the incredibly low fare you have to pay to get to either of these two cities, it's only him and a few more that will catch these trains. Isn't it strange how people chooses other means for their transportation, like airplanes or even cars, when we have been arguing for the environment for such a long time?
