Today the weather forecast recommended to “enjoy the last rays of the sun”. I certainly did.

Pink? I have not that many songs with “pink” in their title. Some albums, yes, Pink Floyd, sure, but song titles? I have an ingenious version of the “Pink Panther Theme” though, interpreted by Bobby McFerrin. Hear it on YouTube.

  1. I guess this is Lythrum salicaria? Beautifully captured, excellent composition. This flower brightens the late summer.

  2. Well, I have been trying to take a photograph of these flowers during the last few days – there are plenty of them around – but for some reason I don’t seem to get it right. Maybe the vertical framing, such you used, is the way to go.

  3. For once, I would opt for the original – nothing beats Henry Mancini when it comes to the pink panther…

Certainly looks as if you had better weather down there – here we’re approaching 10 degrees during night. So much for summer – was fun while it lasted.
