1481 - Monsters In Disguise

It’s an ad. It’s one of those backlit ads that we now see everywhere, and when I approached, this mouth that I saw through the twigs of a shrub, it somehow made an aggressive, a predatory impression.

I took two images, one focused on the foreground twigs, one focused on the ad, and that’s the one that finally made it.

Monsters In Disguise” is from Hazel O’Conner’s 1980 New Wave legend “Breaking Glass”. Hear it on YouTube.

I can't say I "like" this image, but it's very effective! It takes a minute to parse; then the discovery carries a punch -- like the scary moment in a movie that makes me jump back. 🙂
