1479 – November Rain

Today I wanted to go for an extended walk, but although the rain had mostly stopped, it was always on the verge of raining again. Thus I took the car, drove around for an hour or two, took some images here, some images there, and the image that I finally selected, was this rhapsody in orange.

Meanwhile we are back from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time. It’s 5:20 pm and outside it is already dark. Winter is near.

The Song of the Day is “November Rain” from the 1991 Guns N’ Roses album “Use Your Illusion I”. See the official video on YouTube.

  1. Rhapsody in Orange! What an appropriate title. Next I guess would be Rhapsody in White – for when the snow falls. There’s nothing special to rhapsodize about after the leaves fall – unless you come across some spectacular fog.

    1. Hmm … haven’t come across any fog so far this year. Living in Villach now, we have by far less fog than when we lived in a valley above a river power plant. Fog is not always easy to photograph, mostly because of low contrast, but when I get it, I like it.
