1441 - Songs From The Wood

Ok, so let me conclude tonight’s posting spree with a little Twig Photography 🙂

This is from today, the last sunny day for a while, it’s already raining and it will continue to do so for the rest of the weekend.

A few weeks ago, in a comment to “1407 - Infinite And Unforseen”, Thomas suggested an alternative title for that day’s image, namely Jethro Tull’s “Songs From The Wood”. Interestingly enough, although I knew every song on the album, I didn’t actually have it. I couldn’t possibly have gone on like that, could I 🙂

Thanks. I hate the tree to the left, but what can you do, nature is nature, and felling it would have been to radical a measure 🙂

Could you have moved a little more to the left and thus avoided that tree? Probably then there would have been something else in the way, lol. So how about flipping it horizontally? Perhaps you'd like that tree better as a visual stop at the right side? But then that would make the light seem to come from the right, and I like it better coming from the left. Oh what to do, lol? I like this image anyway, big tree or no. I love the quality of the light and how the light in the background forms an opposite diagonal to the slight diagonal of the twigs in the foreground.

Well, actually, I sat in the car 🙂 But then, no. I saw that twig and I wanted just that twig from just that point of view. From another POV I probably would not have bothered at all. Funny what moves us to take a photo, huh?
