Sorry for the delay. Yesterday I had one of those rare meetings with my friend Christian. Actually I had forgotten the date, and when he met me at work, I was pretty surprised and embarrassed, because I was supposed to be the host.
Thankfully the shops were still open and I could go the the next supermarket to fetch some edibles and some wine. It left me damn short time for photographing though. In fact this image was taken while I walked back home. Note to self: Never go out without a camera, even if it’s only to the supermarket
The Song of the Day is “The Golden Age” from Beck’s 2002 album “Sea Change”. See the video on YouTube.

Another great image. I love the strong lines of the basic composition and the dramatic post-processing.
Thanks. Well, I used pretty heavy post-processing for two reasons: In the original the sky and the reflection were pretty much apart tonally, but I wanted the architecture to almost float in the sky. Thus I had to darken the sky and to push the reflections. The second reason is a direct consequence, because now there was visibly more noise in the reflection than in the sky. The painting effect nicely took care of that
Nice, the façade looks like painted in gold. Thought it was some kind of mirror frame first.
Great photo. I want that one for my office too, when i´ll be able to afford it.

Yeah, yeah…you're not supposed to say it, but still: Wow! What colors… And the composition is simple enough so that the final picture is not overloaded. Just wonderful.
