693 - The Morning Fog II

Oh dear, it’s that time of the year again. In the mornings we see fog down in the valley. Friday morning I had to be in Villach to let workers into the new appartment. They began at 7am, thus I had to be out early.

I shot this image when I returned, about two hours later. It’s a composite of two exposures, one focused on the foreground, one on the tree in the background. I’m not really sure if this is what I set out to do in post-processing, in any case it’s what I ended up with 🙂

The Song of the Day is one that we already had in “310 - The Morning Fog”, but it works here as well: “The Morning Fog” from Kate Bush’s 1985 album “Hounds of Love”. Hear it on YouTube.

How you did, you did it.
It's simply beautiful. 🙂

Isn't it wonderful that we now have two distinct moments to see, moments that kick off the discovery process in PP? The first comes as we decide to click the shutter, the second when we review the images on our digital light table. You well remember when only the first was available. And this image proves how inadequate that time was.

Nice...
