In the end it seems we’re finally getting somewhere. This fisheye lens gets controllable, the number of usable images rises again 🙂
Well, not much more to tell, especially nothing book-related. I’m in a hurry. I’ve got to be off for work.
The Song of the Day is “In The End” from the 2002 Stranglers album “Coup De Grace”. Nobody seems to like this album, I do. Quite a different thing that this song wants to say, but it’s beautiful and the title fits my needs. I take it anyway 🙂

Well, for me it's mostly the search for geometry. This whole fisheye business is seemingly much about spirals, not about straight lines and certainly not about lines running into corners. Actually I like this image. It's one of a series of three, taken within two minutes. You can really see how the light fades away. This one almost was too dark, but there's a lot of reserve in what the D300 records. I chose it for the perfect position of the waiter 🙂

That picture certainly works for me! Not necessarily because of the perspective. More because of the great colors and their strong contrasts - still interwoven by the joining tree trunk.
