536 – Donegan’s Gone

I shot this image today on my way home. In reality, I have to admit, I don’t know this man, but one thing’s for sure, he can’t be Donegan, because Donegan’s gone.

The Song of the Day is “Donegan’s Gone” from Mark Knopfler’s 2004 album “Shangri-La“. See him perform it live and explain the story on YouTube.

Oh, one more thing: Bill Birtch has a new blog, so if you link to him, it’s time to update now. For the time being I keep the old link as well. Much too much great stuff there 🙂

  1. clear composition, colorful but in a reduced set, hinted movement – for me this is a strong picture

  2. Lovely warm colours and great composition and timing.
And thanks again for the plug. Appreciate it

  3. Hmm…. Burley man forcefully trods through a tunnel that’s somewhat blood like in its tint… and then enters through to the light… and … and.. Vienna? Hmmmm…. Do the name Freud ring a bell? Hmmmm…….

I like this, but I suspect your lady fans will like it even more…. Or… or… sometimes I guess a cigar is just a cigar? Heh heh heh…
