536 - Donegan's Gone

I shot this image today on my way home. In reality, I have to admit, I don’t know this man, but one thing’s for sure, he can’t be Donegan, because Donegan’s gone.

The Song of the Day is “Donegan’s Gone” from Mark Knopfler’s 2004 album “Shangri-La”. See him perform it live and explain the story on YouTube.

Oh, one more thing: Bill Birtch has a new blog, so if you link to him, it’s time to update now. For the time being I keep the old link as well. Much too much great stuff there 🙂

clear composition, colorful but in a reduced set, hinted movement - for me this is a strong picture

I really like the color in this. Very well seen. The image tells a story.

Hmm.... Burley man forcefully trods through a tunnel that's somewhat blood like in its tint... and then enters through to the light... and ... and.. Vienna? Hmmmm.... Do the name Freud ring a bell? Hmmmm.......

I like this, but I suspect your lady fans will like it even more.... Or... or... sometimes I guess a cigar is just a cigar? Heh heh heh...
