Today I didn’t go out before the evening, when I had to bring Michael to the train station in Velden. Already being there, I decided to take home some food from our favorite Chinese restaurant, and while I had to wait there for a few minutes, I took this image of a horse figurine.

Sigma 70/2.8 macro at f2.8, 1/50s and ISO 500. I guess that is my first shot with this lens that qualifies as macro :)

The Song of the Day is “Bring On The Dancing Horses” by Echo & The Bunnymen. It’s from “Songs to Learn and Sing“, the only one of their albums that I have. See the video on YouTube.

Nice macro… You’re not going to change the main theme of your photography, huh?

After coming back after a couple of weeks absence from anything remotely connected to photography (which sucks), one can really enjoy your productivity. Your blog is just like a photographic candy store… :-)

Fitting that I should drop in one the day you have a horsey image!!! Wishing you a Happy New Year may it be filled with laughter and love. I would also like to thank you for the help you have been to me as I learn how to blog. Your images are always a delight to see as you have such a creative spin on things.

Deb, I’ve thought of you :)

Thank you both, and a Happy New Year to you as well.
